Rodina Beach Hotel

I saw staff who seemed exhausted and constantly overworked, and they were treated without much dignity. Management spoke to employees in a degrading, dismissive way, as though they were less than human. Some behavior toward particular staff also seemed biased and discriminatory. Hospitality should involve respect and professionalism, not exploitation or humiliation. Until this changes in a serious way, I can't support or recommend the place. The polished exterior doesn't reflect what I witnessed behind the scenes.

There aren't any power outlets beside the beds, which was my one real complaint. Otherwise it was a nice, quiet stay, with clean, roomy rooms and a sea view from the window. The pool is at the front, facing the beach, and you can watch the sunset from the loungers. The bathroom was fine, with a rain shower, and the TV had movie channels. Tops supermarket, the Big night market, and the excellent Joomlay hot pot restaurant are all nearby.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, though there was an unpleasant smell from the toilet. Breakfast was disappointing and needs a lot of work. At check-in, the lobby felt warm without air conditioning, and the corridor to the room was the same. There were two women at reception, but one had trouble understanding English. The hotel is right across from the beach.

Rodina hotel is right across from Jomtien beach, which makes it a great spot for couples or families. The staff were friendly and the service was great. There's free parking on site too.
