Seven Zea Chic Hotel

The beach and malls are close by, which was the only real upside for me. The room itself wasn't in good shape: there was water damage on the floor outside the bathroom, mold throughout the bathroom, and dirty windows that blocked the sea view we'd paid for. Sound carries between rooms, and the TV only had local channels. Breakfast was fine, nothing special. Apart from the location, I'd listen to the other reviews and avoid booking here.

The rooms and location were the best parts, and the pool was amazing, especially at sunset. Just be aware there's no proper designated smoking area. We were lucky to be on the third floor, since the lifts didn't work at certain times, or perhaps access to some floors was controlled.

We stayed four nights, and the staff were extremely rude, especially housekeeping. The room wasn't soundproof and had almost no facilities, just a bed. The TV was positioned badly for watching, and the supposed sea view was far off, mostly a cluster of run-down buildings and the car park behind the hotel. The Wi-Fi didn't work for the first two days. After that, we had to request an identity and password every day because each login only lasted one day. Stay away, and don't make our mistake of failing to read the Google reviews carefully.

For a one-night stay, the good location made the experience manageable, and the room was decent. Still, hygiene and cleanliness were below standard. At check-in, reception handed us a key and told us to inspect the room ourselves. The first one had an overpowering perfume smell, like the kind often used in UAE, and the lighting was so dim it felt uncomfortable. The next room was a little better, but not much. The staff were neither particularly welcoming nor rude. Our view was just the back of the restaurant. It was an okay stay overall, but the cleanliness, freshness of the rooms, and service need work.
