Shilat Avenue Pattaya

The location is quiet, but that can’t make up for how neglected this place has become. It must have been luxurious once. Now the interiors are worn, facilities are broken and outdated, and there’s a moldy smell from the air conditioning. The whirlpool and bar don’t work, and reception gives misleading information.

We booked five rooms for our group of nine and stayed September 10-18. The pool was our favorite part, always clean, inviting, and well maintained. Our rooms were regularly cleaned, had closets for our things, and included a safe for valuables. They were spotless, comfortable, and equipped with what we needed. I also loved the peaceful atmosphere and how attentive the staff were from the moment we arrived. They were warm, professional, and always happy to help. The location made it easy to get around, and the locals were welcoming. We even made friends with the neighbors. The property felt secure and guarded at all times. We had a wonderful stay at Shilat Avenue Hotel Pattaya, and it exceeded what we expected. Our whole group would gladly stay again, and I’d recommend it for comfort, quality, and service at a price that won’t hurt your pocket.

We booked through Agoda, but finding the hotel was very difficult because the Google location was wrong. We arrived at midnight, and our taxi driver spent two hours searching. No one seemed to know the hotel. The rooms were very small, though clean, and online listings showed balconies that weren’t there. Smoking is strictly banned in rooms, with a 5,000 baht charge if you smoke. They also seem to look for ways to impose financial penalties.

The lobby reeks of pee, and the rooms smell moldy. I checked the other rooms too, and they all had the same smell. This place stinks, literally.
