The view was great. Everything else was awful. The room was dirty when we got in around 2:30 pm, even though check-in was at 2. We’d arrived at noon, rented a motorbike, and gone out to give the hotel time to get the room ready. But after the staff handed us the key, we still had to wait a long time for another cleaning. We were tired from traveling and just wanted to rest. The bathroom floor was wet, there was hair in the sink, the liquid soap hadn’t been refilled, and there was no fresh toilet paper. The first thing I saw when I opened the bathroom door was the bidet spray on the floor. I also spotted trash under the sofa at the foot of the bed, as if nobody had swept. I called staff to clean, and it took ages. The cleaning staff seemed annoyed, and my partner noticed it too. We trusted this place, paid for it, and were so disappointed by the rude staff and the way our trip started. I’ve never had such a bad stay anywhere. If you’re thinking of booking, read the reviews and think carefully. No wonder there were so many rooms available when I booked.
