Thai Lang Villa Vine

We were a family group of 10 and spent two nights at Thai Lang Villa, house number 10, Breeze. We booked on Airbnb over a long holiday weekend for 7,000 baht a night, which was excellent villa value and quite affordable per person once split between us. Breeze has a warm, distinctive bird theme in black and white. The house has four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, and is comfortable for eight. Two thin extra mattresses can be added for a group of 10, but they may not suit anyone with back pain. There's generous shared space, including a large central table with enough chairs for everyone, so it works well for eating, talking, and spending time together. It feels private, with a BBQ grill and a small pool about chest-deep for adults. Children can play there, but should be supervised. The kitchen is especially well equipped for group cooking: infrared stove, pans, spatulas, wine glasses, and tea cups, all working. Appliances include a coffee maker and ground coffee, an air purifier, robotic vacuum, rice cooker, and washing machine with detergent. Everything was functional, not just present but broken. The owner and staff were responsive when we had questions, which made us feel secure. The location is convenient near Sukhumvit Road, GO Wholesale, and Big C for groceries, with a durian stall at the entrance. It's tucked into a private lane so it's peaceful despite being near the main road, and not too far from Jomtien Beach. A few things could be improved. The kitchen tiles make spilled water hard to see and are slippery. One child slipped, though luckily nothing serious happened, and an absorbent mat would help. The bathroom has no separate wet and dry areas, so the whole room gets wet when showering. At least the floor isn't too slippery and drains quickly; a shower screen would be useful. The pool stairs are rusty and don't seem sturdy, so I'd replace them for safety. The sliding iron gate also needs regular safety checks and maintenance. Lighting by the BBQ is dim, and we had to keep bringing food inside to check whether it was cooked. Extra lights or portable lamps would help. These are just my family's personal mattress, pillow, and air-conditioning impressions: the beds in every room felt a little too hard, the pillows a bit too high, and some rooms a bit too warm. We could sleep fine and it wasn't bad, but you can feel the difference compared with a hotel. This suits people looking to cook, gather, chat, and relax together more than people after heavy activities or full-scale entertainment. If a large pool or karaoke isn't important to you, it's an attractive villa at a good price, especially in peak season when most accommodation costs more. I was impressed overall, and think it's good value for family trips or groups of friends who want time together. From reading other reviews, it seems the villas can be inconsistent, with some good and some having problems. We were lucky not to run into any strange issues, and the owner and staff were okay.
