The location is very convenient, right across from the beach and less than a five-minute walk from the mall on the strip. It's easy to get a Grab or find food nearby. The kitchen and shared fridge were handy, and the washer and dryer cost 40THB each, which seemed reasonable. For a cheap stay in a good spot, this would do, though I've had better hostels in southern Thailand for around £3 a night. We stayed in a private room, just big enough to sleep in and barely roomy enough for both of us to stand. The bed was very hard and we only had one pillow, which gave us both neck pain. The air con seemed like it hadn't been cleaned for ages. We both developed a dry cough in the room, but were fine after leaving, and we've never had that issue with air con before. The showers only ran cold, with no way to make the water warmer. I know it's a warm country, but a warm shower would've been nice.

The beachside location gives you a perfect sunset view. The beds are really spacious, the lockers are massive, and they provide a towel, water, and a remote for your own TV. Great place!

The staff were always keen to help, and there are lots of good places nearby. Everything was very clean and cozy, with a lovely decorative look. You get your own TV, lamp, and plug socket. One of the best hostels I've ever been to.

The building is new and clean, the host is very nice, and the location is excellent. It feels peaceful, comfortable, and secure, with a view like a Hilton hotel. Best hostel I've ever seen. Everything was great.

The room and bathroom were clean, the air conditioner worked, and guests can use the kitchen. There are popular eateries and stores nearby, but the main reason to book is the location, exactly across from the beach.
