The TJ Hotel

Tipta, our hostess at the Bistro & Bar, was awesome and made sure we were looked after the whole time. The food was delicious, from dinner to snacks. Our room was modern with great air conditioning, and the front desk team were friendly and knew their stuff. The staff are all very nice and work hard.

For the price, this is one of the best-value hotels in Jomtien Beach and has everything you could want. There’s an infinity pool, sauna, and fitness center, plus big rooms with lovely decor and high-quality furniture. The staff were, as is typical in Thailand, very attentive and friendly throughout, which made the stay even better.

The pool bar is a nice spot to sit and eat calmly by the water, with good coffee, drinks, and excellent food choices. It’s also very close to the main Jomtien seaside road. The rooms were modern, clean, quiet, and had comfortable beds. Breakfast was a letdown, though. It’s meant to run until 10:30, but if something is gone by 10:00 they don’t refill it, and they start clearing the food at 10:20.

The buffet was good value, with a solid selection and a couple of changes each day. Staff were helpful when issues came up, and the price felt fair. The room was spacious but dusty. The air conditioning is strong if you like a cold room, though its light was a minor annoyance. It’s about five minutes from the beach in a nice, quiet area. Some guests were a bit loud, and the walls and balconies don’t block much sound.
