I found the room unpleasant because there was animal fur in it. The hotel allows pets, which seems to be the reason. It was also hard to work out how to get to the hotel from the boulevard. Zine Hotel is directly across the street.

I was confused by the hotel's rules, especially the restriction on cover-ups in the restaurant. I've never run into that at another hotel, and wearing a cover-up over a bikini seems completely normal. That confusion fit the rest of my stay: from check-in to the restaurant and the luggage help, staff seemed dazed, struggled with basic questions, and made me repeat myself several times. The hotel says it's premium, but the experience and treatment didn't match that.

The villas are lovely and spacious, and being pet friendly is a nice bonus. I'll definitely come back with my family.

The air conditioner was so noisy that it kept me awake all night. This is a very old five-star hotel.
