Had a good time here. It was really comfortable.

I’ve stayed at plenty of hotels, but I’ve never had a checkout like this. We’d paid a 3000 baht deposit, then had to wait around 40 minutes while staff inspected every nook and cranny before they’d return it. It was a real hassle. They were already talking about a fine when we were five minutes past checkout, even though we were ready to leave and waiting for them to finish checking. Checkout was 11:00 AM. At 10:50, while I was up drinking coffee, a staff member came in and said we’d be fined if we didn’t leave right away. They also listed fines for unwashed dishes, dirty towels, and dirty sheets. The towel issue was supposedly a faint lipstick trace from washing my face, with a 1000 baht fine. So I can’t even wipe my face with the towels? There was one brown drop of coffee on a pillow. Could it have been us? Maybe, but it could just as well have been from the previous guests. They really need to check everything at check-in, otherwise staying here feels unacceptable. The facilities were okay, just average for Thailand. With the fines taken from the deposit, the 3000 baht seemed ridiculously high, like they were making their money through penalties.

I'm going on vacation May 4-6, 2015, and I'll give my friends a 5-star review.

The owner was lovely and kind. It’s a comfortable villa for parties, with lots of seating, air conditioning, and a swimming pool that looks beautiful when lit up.
