VC Hotel

Though I’ve visited Thailand many times, this was my first stay at VC Hotel, and I was really pleased with it. The location made getting to the nearby walking street easy. The staff were polite, the service was excellent, and I’m grateful for the warm hospitality and patience shown to tourists by the Thai people. 🤗🤗🤗🤗

One issue to keep in mind is the pool. The chlorine seemed strong enough to irritate my eyes after swimming. Apart from that, our twin room was clean, tidy, and comfortable, and the service was good. We were there around New Year, yet the hotel was quiet and not very busy. The open terrace is a pleasant place for breakfast. You choose from about 6-7 options, rather than having a buffet. There are lots of nearby restaurants and food places, plus a McDonald’s directly connected to the lobby. The beach is around 600-700 meters away, and Walking Street is roughly a 500-600 meter walk. A decent stay in a convenient central spot, with some caution needed around the pool.

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at in Pattaya. The reception was awful, and the staff came across as incredibly arrogant. There’s a man in the upstairs cafe who speaks rudely to customers and tenants, and even throws people out in front of other employees. He seems focused only on money and very cunning.

The area is great, close to Walking Street, and the hotel itself is very clean. As a Thai person, I can honestly say I thought it was excellent. The view is lovely, the air conditioning is comfortably cool, and the service is outstanding. It’s well worth the price, and I’d genuinely recommend staying here if you’re visiting this part of town.
