Wind Mill Resort

I picked this place because it's right behind Dive Station Pattaya, and it worked well for part of my open water course since the pool is well kept. The room was roomy like the listing said, with a working TV and a little fridge. Mine had a king bed, comfortable but a bit squeaky, and a brand-new aircon unit had just been installed. Housekeeping came every day, so the room stayed sparkling clean. The hotel is old, though it's been maintained well, and the staff were helpful and polite. The mascot was especially cute 😼 The bathroom, shower, and tub all worked, though the water pressure was a little weak. There's a thermos you can fill with hot water in the lobby, and the hotel covers the basic needs. One thing to know is there are no lifts, only stairs. The building has three floors, but only the ground and first floors are in use, so heavy luggage could be a hassle. They don't supply personal care items. If you forget a toothbrush, toothpaste, or shaver, you can get one at 7-11, Best Supermarket near Dolphin circle, about a five-minute walk away, or the supermarket in Terminal 21.

The room was very clean and got changed every day. Everyone I dealt with, from reception and housekeeping to security, was friendly. It's about a five-minute walk to the beach. I extended my stay three times, and next time I'll come back with my whole family.

One woman at reception, the one with glasses who they call MAMA, was rude, unfriendly, and unhelpful. I've never complained about anything in my life, but her behavior pushed me to write this. We were there to enjoy a holiday, and she shouldn't have been able to ruin my mood. Manager, please check what she's doing. I'll never stay at this hotel again and can't recommend it.

I stayed in December 2015 and January 2016. The rooms were clean, breakfast had a good variety, and the pool was lovely. Nice location and good value for the money.
