Bangsak Village

The beach is excellent, and the whole resort has a lovely tropical feel. This was our fourth stay at Bangsak Village, always in a bungalow beside or near the pool, which we really like. The reception team were friendly and helpful, and most of the staff were lovely, though a few people seemed less friendly. We enjoyed the restaurant and breakfast, and the staff there were helpful too. One person, though, gave the impression she wasn't very motivated to work. The pool was noisier than we expected this time, with constant gossip and loud conversations, sometimes louder than at a family hotel. Still, plenty of the other guests were kind and quiet. We'd definitely recommend the hotel.

The New Year's Eve celebration was a highlight, with a terrific beach buffet and a lovely countdown program. The team really went all out, they were amazing. The hotel itself has easy beach access and a calm, peaceful feel, just right for a few days of relaxing. My room was well maintained, and the staff were friendly, professional, and helpful. One of the best resorts I've stayed at.

The peaceful, green setting is far from city noise, and the breakfast was tasty and high quality. Cleanliness and service stayed at a very high standard throughout our visit. Personally, though, this place suits people who want to slow down and simply be more than travelers looking for experiences. That's just my style, not a criticism of the hotel. Two things did disappoint us. Although breakfast was included, asking for a takeaway meal when leaving early meant an extra charge of around 300 baht. The laundry was also priced per item, and very expensively, while services right beside the hotel charge standard rates by weight.

I came here on my own while training for a swim race and swam every day along the long beaches. I also had a few massages and dinner at the hotel's restaurant right by the sea. The beachfront setting is gorgeous, with jungle trees all around and a soothing pool. I felt peaceful as soon as I walked into the village, and the comfortable rooms made it easy to unwind for a few days. Highly recommend.
