I spent eight hours fishing here with four rods. We got one bite and landed one red tail catfish. Asking Rambo to bait lines or recast got me nasty looks, and his miserable energy ruined the mood. The pool was cool and refreshing, and I liked the Dutch back bacon at breakfast. The experience cost about 14000 bhat. I’d choose other similar businesses over exotic next time. In reply to the host’s response, here’s a video of the only fish we caught. Your catch and release policy means it wouldn’t be possible to drop a fish on concrete. It must be awkward to be caught lying. I understand this is your source of income, but you could be more transparent about what you offer. Rambo doesn’t speak English, despite what you’ve said in responses to other reviews. Asking to recast every one to two hours shouldn’t be a problem. You told us we should recast every 30-40 minutes.

The best part of this exciting, enjoyable fishing trip was catching a PR redtail catfish, an absolute beast and a dream fish for any angler. Everything, from the setup to the guidance, was top notch, and I had an unforgettable time.

I spent seven days fishing at Exotic Fishing Thailand on my first visit, and the team made us feel very welcome. The fishing was extraordinary, with lots of species and big fish. The guides helped us get onto the fish, while still letting us do our own thing. Mike and his team were excellent, the accommodation was pretty luxurious, and the food was delicious. It was delivered bankside, where the shelter is more substantial than I expected. You can sit at a table to eat, if you don’t mind being a couple of yards farther from your rods. Can’t wait to come back.

I had a successful day ticket session at the arapaima lake. The whole operation ran smoothly, with everything well organized, from pickup and fishing to food and drinks and the ride back to the hotel. I’ll definitely return.
