The rooms were very comfortable, and for the price it’s fantastic value, even though the stay isn’t luxurious. We often ate at The Little Shore next door, a phenomenal five-star hotel with great food. Breakfast here wasn’t great, and there weren’t many allergy-friendly choices, just regular milk, for example. I’d stay again for a budget trip.

Everything you might need is an easy walk away, including supermarkets, an ATM, restaurants, bars, and shops. The hotel is right on the beach and has a lovely beach bar and pool, while still feeling peaceful and relaxed. It’s centrally located.

The food was poor value for the price. Our prawn pasta cost 560 baht and came with just two prawns, tiny tails with huge heads. Orchid charges the same and gives you two huge tiger prawns, while other places serve better food for less. Just a heads-up. The location is lovely, and Coconut Beach has better food and a great spot for eating on the beach. It might be a nice place to stay, but the food didn’t feel worth the money.

The only letdown was that the area felt more touristy and expensive than I expected, though that’s not the hotel’s fault. We had a great stay otherwise. The beds were so comfortable and breakfast was great. The woman who usually worked reception in the mornings was friendly, chatty, and kind, and the security man was lovely too, always happy to stop for a chat. I’d definitely stay again.

We had a problem involving funds, but senior management and reception dealt with it well and resolved it. The rest of the stay was lovely. The resort is right on the beach, close to the main road and its many shops and excellent places to eat. Our garden room had a nice little private garden. Breakfast was superb, the bar service was good, and Happy Hour was great. Everyone we met across reception, the bar, and housekeeping was friendly and efficient.
