Khao Sok Blue Mountain

The room was clean enough, though not especially so, and that was the one thing I liked. The place is quiet but far from everything. On-site food wasn’t good and was overpriced, and there was no Wi-Fi. The owners were friendly once out of six times, rarely greeting or thanking us and not helpful. It often felt like we were a bother. They didn’t have things like umbrellas or extra cleaning available, and there was never a smile. Maybe it’s okay for a single night, but I wouldn’t stay longer. Edit: the owner was nice at checkout.

It’s a peaceful spot, about a 15-20 minute walk from the main town. The rooms are small and basic, just as advertised, and the shower pressure wasn’t great. The owner and staff were lovely and very helpful.

We spent ages relaxing on the terrace of one of the cute little green bungalows. It was simple, but had everything we needed. The staff were so friendly and ready to help, and the food was really good, definitely worth trying. The cozy restaurant looks out toward the mountains, and town is about a 10-minute walk away. We followed the road past the ‘elephant crossing’ sign and saw the forest, where we even spotted a Gibbon! We loved our stay and would happily come back. Thank you! 🙏

The location is just a 3-minute walk from the entrance to the national park. The owner was really friendly and helped us book all our tours on the day we arrived. The tours we arranged through reception were good, and we really enjoyed our stay at the blue mountain. The staff were very friendly too.
