Tree Top River Huts

The location by the park entrance is perfect, and the staff were really polite and friendly. The pool is nice, though it needs more mattresses. The evening food was good. The shared bathroom could use some improvements: pedal bins would help if tissues have to go in them, so you don’t need to touch the lids, and there should be paper towels for drying hands. A few wall hooks for hanging things would be useful too.

My cabin was really spacious and had a lovely terrace by the pool. The little river runs through the property, which is surrounded by nature, and having a meal or breakfast overlooking it is a lovely way to start the day. The hotel is right at the park entrance and only steps from the main street’s restaurants and shops, but it’s still quiet enough to relax by the pool and fall asleep to the sounds of nature. The staff were friendly, professional, and always happy to help or offer advice. Special thanks to Wawa (hope I spell it right) and the rest of the team for making my stay so pleasant. The breakfasts were fantastic, and our room was comfortable. The park entrance is literally just steps away. We had a problem with the booking service payment not going through, but they were patient and helped us work it out. While we looked for a solution, we dipped our feet in the creek, and they treated us like friends. Nai, sorry if I’ve got the spelling wrong, even showed us the garden where she grows fresh peppers. Great value for us, and we’d stay again.

The location is great and the people working there are lovely, but the bungalow we got through booking.com cost too much: 85 euro's/3150 baht for 1 night. The bed was fine, probably the best part of the room. It wasn’t very clean and smelled a bit, and our spot had no view like the pictures on booking.com. We heard that if we booked another night, they’d offer it for 1900 baht at the lowest price.
