Khao Sok Nung House

The staff were the best part of our stay. One woman sorted out our lake and elephant sanctuary tours, then arranged all our transport, and even helped us film our video. We really appreciated her kindness. The rooms were spotless, and the garden was lovely and peaceful. It’s handy for both restaurants and the park. Breakfast is a set meal, with a few choices to pick from. We wholeheartedly recommend staying here.

The restaurant was a real plus, with delicious food at reasonable prices. Breakfast costs extra, but I’d recommend eating there. We spent two nights here in October while passing through Khao Sok, and the grounds were calm and well kept. The bungalows are simple but charming. We did find one cockroach in the room, though otherwise had no trouble with insects. We arrived early on the night bus from Bangkok and were allowed into our room straight away at no extra charge, which we really appreciated.

Rain showed up now and then, as it does in rainy season, but we still had a really nice stay. The bed was comfortable and I had no complaints. We ate at the restaurant and added some photos, though I didn’t try breakfast. Pets are welcome without a fee, but there’s a 1,000 THB deposit.

You’re close to everything, but Nung House sits just off the Main Street, so it stays quiet. We had a great time here. The bungalows are simple and decent, with hot showers, and you can hear gibbons in the jungle around you. They booked our activities at a good price and gave us even better service. I’d definitely recommend it.
