The Par Phuket

I booked the event space for my 40th birthday, and even with only about two weeks to plan, Evalynn, the event manager, went above and beyond to keep everything running smoothly. The staff on the day were fantastic, from catering through to cleanup. Every guest raved about how delicious the food was, and my local Thai friends loved the food, space and service. I also booked rooms for some guests, which worked out perfectly because they could enjoy the party without needing to drive. The reception and front desk were always available and on top of things. It was a lovely, memorable celebration, and I highly recommend the Par Phuket for an event. Thank you so much, Par Phuket!

The rooms were spotless, and everything was within walking distance. Reception staff were especially friendly and helpful. They even let me leave my luggage there for four days. I've stayed twice now and would recommend it.

The rooms were comfortable, the staff were friendly, and the hotel itself was very nice. But I really can't recommend breakfast. I tried what we call in France “Tasty Crousty” and unfortunately got food poisoning. Everything else was fine, but take care with the morning buffet.

I couldn't sleep in the first room. The sliding door wouldn't lock, and something inside the wall kept switching on and off every 30 seconds. Even headphones didn't help because the vibration went through the whole room. They tried moving me to three other rooms, but each had growing mold that I could smell as soon as I walked in. They said the manager would contact me and refund me the next day, but I still haven't received any money back or a reply on WhatsApp or Booking.com. There was trash all over the streets on the drive up, and you can see it from the balconies facing that way. I wouldn't recommend this place.
