No attached washroom or wash basin, and there's no breakfast or lift.

Wasn't good.

I was in a rush and needed somewhere to sleep and shower, so I found this on Agoda and paid 1,100 baht for a 7:00 AM check-in. Agoda showed around 500+ baht for check-in at 2 PM. The private room had a shared bathroom and looked like the photos. For the price, it wasn't bad, but the floor felt sticky, the air conditioning was very cold, and my neck hurt from the soft pillows. The blanket was comfortable, and they gave me one towel. One lamp had no batteries and the other worked. The light switch is on a pole outside, so you have to step out to turn it on or off, and you need to lock your room when going to the bathroom. The entrance is on Sukhumvit 1, in the alley behind Amazon Cafe. There’s no parking. Watch the door when you open it, since the stairs drop down three flights and my legs were aching afterward.

We were four people, two guys and two girls, on a trip to Bangkok for an education project. We booked for convenience and arrived at 7 PM. The street felt like a walking street area, with lots of massage parlors. Right away, the two flights of very steep stairs stood out. A foreign woman at reception welcomed us, but we were surprised to find the bathroom was shared rather than ensuite. The light switch was outside the room, so anyone could turn the light on or off. There was a strong, pungent smell outside, and everyone we saw in the room was foreign. The bed was okay, though we heard shaking and banging from the next room. Things got unsettling around 4 AM, close to checkout. My friend Nong got up to use the bathroom while playing slots, and felt as if someone had come in. We heard water, but when I went out, nobody was there. Then a Black person came in and washed his feet in the sink, blocking my way. I asked him to move, and he looked confused and stared at me. I felt unsafe. As I was going back to my room, I saw him standing with his face in the water in front of Ning and Nam's room. He panicked when he saw me, ran into his room, and kept peeking out. At 5:20 AM, I woke up to shower, opened the door, and quickly stepped back, thinking I was hallucinating. A Black foreigner was praying outside my room. I told Ning and Nam, who were just as shocked, then went to the communal bathroom feeling apprehensive. When I came out, he was still sitting there praying. I felt unsafe. At 7:00 AM, as we were checking out, a male employee came out without a shirt and looked messy. Then we left. I wouldn't recommend this area to an average person. There were no restaurants, the stairs were very high, the outside smelled strongly, and the bathroom was shared with the switch outside the room. Staff may not be very professional at checkout, and some foreigners seemed dangerous and unfriendly. It was a bad experience, though maybe I was just unlucky. This is what happened to me, so think carefully before booking. If you think I'm making it up, you wouldn't understand unless it happened to you. Staying somewhere else afterward can leave you feeling insecure and apprehensive. Ghosts aren't as scary as people :(

Good value if all you need is somewhere to leave your luggage and sleep. The air conditioning runs full blast, so it gets a little cold, but at least it isn't hot.
