Khao Sok Nature Place

Our stay was great. The rooms were cozy and very clean, and at least our room had a really nice view. The location is ideal if you want to be close to restaurants, tour operators, and shops. I'd definitely recommend it.

The rooms themselves were nice, clean, and perfectly fine. The lake overnight trip was a different story: it was badly organized, and the accommodation was overbooked, leaving people without a bungalow. When we returned to complain about the trip we booked through the hotel, there was no staff member who could speak English well enough to help us. A really disappointing experience.

The rooftop terrace where breakfast is served is stunning, and the rooms were spacious with everything working well. Check-in was easy, and the staff helped us arrange a lake day trip. It was amazing, and our guide Woody was the best we could have hoped for. The bed was the hardest I've ever slept on, though, and that's why I'm giving four stars. I'd recommend staying here.

The receptionist was rude and unhelpful, which made an already stressful stay worse. There was no room service either, although I expected it. The room I got was much smaller than the pictures from when I booked, almost claustrophobic. I didn't feel comfortable or welcome, and I wouldn't recommend the hotel.
