Khaosok Boutique Hideaway

The view from our room was lovely, with jungle all around, and it was a treat to wake up to. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated, and the AC worked great, which hasn’t been our experience at many hotels here. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel. Dinner was especially memorable, with fish in sweet and sour sauce that I’m still thinking about. We’ve stayed at 5-star hotels on this Thailand trip, but this 3-star place beat quite a few of them for service and attention to detail. I’d absolutely recommend it, 10/10.

The room, or tent, was cozy and really clean, and everyone on staff was friendly. The views felt magical, like being in a little world of your own. It’s probably the most beautiful place I’ve ever been, and I’ll definitely come back. I can’t recommend a stay here enough.

If you’re going to Cheow Lan Lake or planning other adventurous activities, Khao Sok Boutique Hideaway is a convenient base for a short stay in Khao Sok. The peaceful, beautiful surroundings, clean rooms, and friendly staff made it a pleasant place to stay. Order dinner at the hotel ahead of time, since there aren’t many restaurants nearby. The food’s really good, but ask for it not spicy if that’s not your thing. Bring mosquito spray too. The mattresses were a bit of an adventure for our backs, though fine for a short stay. A peaceful, convenient spot with tasty food and friendly people.

We had a few problems with the hot water and electricity, but the staff were attentive and fixed things right away. The hotel is tucked against the cliffs, with beautiful grounds and a peaceful feel. It’s very close to the park, which is convenient. There’s a restaurant at the hotel, and it’s easy to get a taxi into town to try other restaurants. Hideaway is a fitting name.
