Sitthinard Grandview Hotel

The room is spacious, though the bathroom is laid out a bit oddly. A large pillar blocks part of the shower, and the water temperature keeps changing, sometimes too hot and sometimes too cold.

There’s no breakfast at the hotel, but a really good coffee shop is attached. The location is good, and the parking garage is a big plus. The hotel is modern, clean, and comfortable, with a well-kept room and a large balcony. The bed was soft and comfortable too. I’ll come back.

For Malaysian travelers driving to Krabi or farther north who need a day’s rest, I’d recommend this hotel. It’s a place to relax and get a good night’s sleep before continuing the journey. It’s near Phattalung Hospital and government offices. The hotel is beautiful and modern, and at seven floors it’s the tallest building around here. There’s a nice lobby and reception beside an elevator. Guests can use the four-story parking building next door, and there’s also parking in front, surrounded by lovely landscaping. A café out front serves good coffee. The staff are friendly, always smiling, and able to communicate in English. The walking areas are spacious and clean. The room is very spacious, with a huge bed, four pillows and a cushion. It also has a safe, mini fridge, kettle, hair dryer, large TV, two bottles of mineral water, and Nescafe. The blanket is thick and clean, good for the cool room with its ceiling air conditioning unit. The Wi-Fi is superb. There’s a roomy balcony with chairs and a table for admiring the mountain views and scenery. The bathroom is huge and well designed, with separate wet and dry areas, a rain shower and hand shower, plug points, cotton buds, shower caps, toothbrush and toothpaste, soap, and shampoo. Muslims can find tasty halal restaurants within 1 to 1.5 km, as well as a mosque. There’s no breakfast, but I’d give it a perfect 10 for everything else. Worth every cent. I’ll definitely come back.
