The Centris Hotel Phatthalung

The room was clean, bright, spacious, and quiet, and the towel elephants were a fun touch. The staff clearly put care into making a stay memorable. At check-in, they offered us orange juice while we waited, and there’s a decent computer in the lobby. The cozy atmosphere starts as soon as you come through the front door, where friendly staff greet you. There’s plenty of free private parking out front, including EV charging stations. A side entrance from the lobby leads to their cafe, which felt cozy and soothing. The food and drinks were a little overpriced, but I still thought the experience was worth it. For a four-star hotel, the price is surprisingly affordable. Its location is the one drawback: it’s near the night market, and as far as I could tell, that’s about it, so getting to other popular attractions can take a bit of a trip. If you want a good night’s sleep and a taste of local Thai streets and food, this is the best hotel you can find in Phattalung.

We stayed just one night to rest, and the experience was okay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location was fine. There’s parking, with EV charging stations too. The inside of the hotel looks good, while the room was clean but could use some improvement. The walk-in rate was a little higher than booking online.

Our train had to stop unexpectedly in Phatthalung because of the severe flooding at Hat Yai, and we were dropped off here. We reached Centris at 9AM, and the staff checked us into a room right away without an extra charge. They also kindly gave us another hour before checkout during the crisis. They understood what we were dealing with and made it much easier to manage. The attentive staff made the stay, and I plan to stop in Phatthalung and stay here again.

We arrived late, but our welcome drinks were still waiting for us. The hotel was very clean and nice, set back from the main road, with its own parking area.
