The lake view and low price were the main things going for this place during my business trip. The breakfast room was meant to open at 6:30, but it wasn’t open until about 6:45. The staff there seemed to have a poor attitude, and breakfast choices were sparse: boiled rice, fried rice, spicy soup, one vegetable dish, sausage, fried eggs, toast and jam, and some fruit. The coffee was really poor. My corner room had plenty of space, but it was old, badly maintained, smelled unpleasant, and had bugs at night. Amenities were limited, and I had to ask reception for a hair dryer. The minibar was free, though the bicycles and vending machine were broken, and the staff weren’t helpful. The hotel sits down an isolated alley, roughly a 15-minute walk from the nearest convenience store. If you have another option, I’d avoid staying here.

The shower barely gave any water, more like a dog peeing, and I spent around 30 minutes trying to wash. I was also told at check-in that there was a hair dryer in the room. When I needed one, there wasn’t one there. Reception said I had to borrow it, but they were out. That felt like a trick, and it was a real shame.

We were glad we didn’t have a firm booking, because reception was so rude and incompetent that we went somewhere else. The service there was friendly and they appreciated their customers. Avoid this place.

The lake view is lovely, and the room was spotlessly clean. It also had a mini fridge, a nice Android TV, and two complimentary packets of drinks and snacks.

The location is great, and breakfast costs just 80 baht and is good for the price. The room came with complimentary juices, a nice little touch. I paid an extra 100 baht for a lake view room on the second floor, but what I actually saw was mostly parking and trees 😅. Still, it’s a good place for a night or two, especially for the price.
