The rooms are clean and well equipped, the staff are helpful, and access is easy. Breakfast was good, with Starbucks coffee served. The hotel is right by the lake, and some rooms face it. It would be worth considering whether guests could have breakfast on the 7th-floor terrace.

We paid 3500 thb for the suite. The view was fantastic, but that was about it, so it definitely wasn't worth the price. We were looking forward to breakfast on the rooftop sky restaurant terrace, only to find breakfast wasn't allowed there. That's ridiculous.

I've been back three times now. The location and views are stunning, the service is always friendly, and the food is delicious. My room also always has a perfect bathtub, which is a real bonus. This place is a gem.

For the views, Atmosphere Sky Bar & Restaurant on the rooftop looks out across Phayao Lake. Guests recommend booking a Lake Front Suite for sunset views from the private balcony, and some suites even have outdoor bathtubs. The hotel also has dedicated EV charging stations, making it a handy stop for road trips in an electric car.

We paid a little extra for a lake-view suite, and it was worth it. The room was amazing, and so was breakfast. Atmosphere bar was a relaxing spot for a Chang, and we also got two bikes for free.
