I got a great view of Khao Wang from my room, with the buildings all lit up after dark. From the rooftop terrace I could have a drink and watch monkeys running over other people's roofs. It's a lovely spot for sunset, and breakfast with a view is something you don't usually get. I judge a stay by how many photos I take, and I took quite a few here.

Breakfast was a real highlight. You choose from three cooked meals, so don't expect toast and jam. The owner was lovely and helped with whatever we needed. The room was comfortable, and there were incredible views from both the roof and the rooms, including the palace and even the big Buddha. Thank you!

We spent two days exploring Petchaburi and never got bored. This little homestay is right in the city center, with a couple of good restaurants within walking distance. Our balcony room was fantastic, cosy but spacious, and everything about it felt just right. The Chedi looks gorgeous both day and night. Breakfast is served on the rooftop with those great views, at the time you request. If you're bringing kids, keep in mind breakfast is for adults only, so pack some snacks. The coffee place downstairs was really good too. We tried several coffees, all excellent, and the cakes were delicious, especially the carrot cake, which wasn't too sweet.
