The Cozy Hotel

The room was clean, the beds and pillows were comfortable, and the linens were fresh. Parking is available, and there’s an open pantry with tea and coffee. The bathroom was a letdown: it’s very small and has no separate wet and dry areas, which is a shame given how nice and clean the room is. It wasn’t noisy overall, but it also wasn’t quiet enough for a light sleeper.

The food and breakfast area were good, the staff were kind, and the cleanliness was perfect. My room was comfortable, but the highway is too close. The bathroom window is tiny, so sounds from other bathrooms get in, and it doesn’t ventilate well, leaving a persistent unpleasant smell. The little terrace outside the room is mostly for looks, since both the sun and mosquitoes make it unpleasant. Sound insulation between rooms is poor. I was lucky to have a considerate neighbor, but as a light sleeper that could easily have been a problem.

A cosy, clean place with the amenities you need and friendly staff. They provide an interesting Thai-style breakfast in a paper bag for each room, and you can take as much fruit as you like. Parking is right in front of the main entrance. I’d recommend it.

With just 10 rooms, the hotel felt restful and there was plenty of parking. I stopped here to rest between trips, and found the room clean, comfortable, and laid out to save space without feeling cramped. The furniture and materials were high quality. There’s a table outside the room where you can sit in the fresh air, plus self-service breakfast and coffee. No disturbances, good comfort, and worth the price. Five stars from me.
