The Kiri Resitel

The rooms and amenities were great, and the hotel is very close to Khao Wang, the palace. There’s covered parking too. The problem is the lack of soundproofing: I could hear everything from the next room and the hallway. During my stay, Harley Davidson motorcycles kept coming and going noisily, sounding like modified tractors.

The reception staff were poor and didn’t look after the customers.

Getting around was easy and convenient, but I probably won’t come back. There were lots of bird droppings around the hotel, and the rooms didn’t block sound well, so I could hear TVs in other rooms and had trouble sleeping. Watch your step in rainy season, as the walkways get very slippery.

There were only a couple of small lights, and sounds from outside the room carried clearly. On the morning I stayed, some people were rude, loud, and completely inconsiderate of the other guests. It was really annoying. 😠😞 The room itself was spacious and clean, with a good bed depending on your preference and very cold air conditioning. Staff service was good. Khao Wang is close enough to walk to.
