Praew Place Phimai

The room itself was decent, though it needed a better clean. There were cobwebs in the corners, and the bathroom grout had marks that looked like they’d been there for a while. We paid 700 baht for three people, including an extra mattress, and that felt a little expensive for the experience. The place was quiet and private, and reception was good, with friendly staff. Some equipment was broken too, so more frequent maintenance and better cleaning would help. I stayed on January 2, 2025.

The grounds feel shady, quiet, and really tidy, and the room was very clean. The owner is lovely, too. There are fruits growing in the garden that guests can pick and eat.

For 5XX baht, I didn't feel the amenities were worth the price. The hotel is new, but the rooms are small, and its rather secluded location means you need a private car to get there. Inside the room there wasn't a table, and there were so few outlets that I had to unplug the TV to charge my phone. They should provide drinking water in new bottles instead of refills. I'd like to see the amenities improved.

We had trouble finding our room, and the owner drove out herself to come get us, which was really kind. The room was clean and fine overall. It was a great stay, though finding food nearby was a bit difficult.
