The room was okay, but the service was terrible. Breakfast was included, though it wasn't good, so I'd recommend a nearby alternative. I asked for two extra pillows and was charged 50 baht each, 100 baht on top of the room price. Be careful with the towels too, because a dirty one costs another 200 baht.

For this price, the room is spacious enough and has a mini fridge and kettle. The toilet was clean, bright, and airy. There was also a TV with lots of channels, mostly Thai, but including CNA, Foxnews, Phoenix, and Australia channels. I stayed two nights. Several attractions are just a 5 to 15 minute walk away, and the location is the main draw. Complimentary breakfast is included, with a limited selection of bread, white rice, and minced pork soup. That's fair for the price. If you're out sightseeing most of the time, there's little reason to pay more.

At check-out I handed back the key and forgot the 200 baht deposit. The operator didn't mention returning it, so I only remembered after leaving and called three times. Eventually they said they'd transfer it to me in 2-3 days. Earlier, my wife was bothered by water dripping onto a metal roof, so I asked to change rooms. The operator's attitude wasn't good. The next room had the same noise, but we decided to stay there, and after that things were fine. That's been my experience with this hotel.

The location is great, right behind Wat Phra Si Rattana Mahathat and a short walk over the bridge to Chan Royal Palace. All the staff were friendly and helpful, and the large room had comfortable beds, spotless surfaces, and plenty of luggage storage. Breakfast was included, which was a nice surprise. I'd definitely recommend it.
