Mark makes the hostel feel warm and welcoming. On the rooftop there are hammocks, dream catchers, tables, and games, so it’s easy to spend time with other travelers. The beds are comfortable, and there’s water and other amenities in the lobby. The streets are quiet at night. It’s close to good food and historic temples. The river walk to the night market is charming and clean, and there’s fun nightlife that’s friendly to travelers. I don’t speak a lick of Thai. 10/10, I’d love to come back. Bonus points for the golden, glistening city sign by the river walk.

I booked one night and ended up staying for more than two weeks. Mark and mint are really sweet and helpful, and will gladly point out places to visit in and around the city. The hostel is clean, and the rooftop is a great spot to chill and socialize if you feel like it. It’s a 10 minute walk from the train station and the center, where there’s good food and a few bars for a drink. One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in, definitely recommended!

Phitsanulok is a lovely town with a river, local markets, and really friendly people. It feels like a unique part of Thailand, and there’s plenty to do in town and nearby. Mark gave me a great introduction and advice about what to see. I stayed at Karma Hostel for 10 days and really enjoyed it. Mark and Mint are genuinely nice, welcoming hosts, the atmosphere is great, and I met some lovely people there. I definitely recommend it!

I watched the sunset from the rooftop, which has hammocks and lots of beautiful mosaic. The host is really nice and gives you good recommendations for things to do in the city. Awesome hostel, one of the best I’ve stayed at.

I felt at home here and was made very welcome. Mark is awesome, showed me good spots around town, and we all had dinner together each night. The rooftop is a great place to hang out and chat with good company. Highly recommend it for backpack travelers who don’t mind being social.
