Ruean Phae Royal Park Hotel

The room was okay, but it was hard to sleep comfortably. There seems to be a club or karaoke place across the road, and it gets too noisy.

The staff were great and friendly, and the pool was beautiful, with immaculately clean water and a bar area. It’s a lovely older hotel with good style. The rooms are large and clean, and there’s proper piped hot water even to the basin. Walk-in price was 1000 baht.

Staff were helpful and kept our luggage after checkout, then booked us a taxi so we could shop at Central. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. It was a great stopover in Phitsanulok and exceeded my expectations. I’d stay again. The location was okay, with good places to eat nearby, including across the street where we ate. There are also bars and clubs if you want to stay up later, and a 7-11 just a few doors away. The pool looked nice, with a bar and food, though we didn’t use it.

The best thing is the location, just a short walk from what’s probably the city’s largest park. Inside, it feels like a time capsule, with traces of luxurious decor, furniture, interiors, and hi-tech controls everywhere. The rooms are huge, homey, and well maintained. The food is great. Highly recommended.
