Talavera Hostel

The room was comfortable, and they provided a small breakfast of egg, sandwich, coffee and tea. The price was excellent for what you get. What really stood out was the staff member who helped me. She was so kind and did everything she could to make me comfortable. We didn’t speak the same language, but still managed to communicate, and she was always smiling. I’d happily recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Phitsanulok and stay again if I’m back.

A convenient stopover, with roomy, clean rooms and a cheap rate that includes scrambled eggs and toast. There are plenty of food places and convenience stores nearby. It’s about 4 km from the train station by Tuk Tuk and 1 km from bus station number 1.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were lovely. Because of Covid, I had breakfast in my room. Before I left for phetchabun, I spent some time with the cats in the office. My stay was only one night, but Gwank helped me at every step. I messaged the hostel about arriving late, and she even offered to book a Grab. When I reached the hostel around 9 pm, she was at the door to welcome me and show me the room. I hadn’t eaten, so she asked if I wanted to come along to 711, then drove me there. On the way, we found out she’d gone to college in Mexico and speaks Spanish as well as fluent English and Thai. She also called the bus station for me. When I got there and the woman at the counter couldn’t speak English, I called Gwank again for help. She’s friendly and positive, and I’d highly recommend staying here. Thank you, Gwank.

The room was lovely, and breakfast was amazing. I’m not sure the usual woman who runs the place was there during my visit, but all in all, it was a great place to stay.
