The price was good, and the room was roomy and clean. There’s an evening street market nearby for picking up dinner, and the Mekong River walkway is an easy walk away. The shower floor was my one gripe: it didn’t slope toward the drain, so water pooled by your feet when you sat on the toilet.

The rooms are fine.

The receptionist seemed irritated and was rude. When I asked questions, she only showed me pictures. I’m still confused about the key deposit being kept over just 2-3 small stains on the blanket. They were only footprints. Are they planning to use that blanket again without washing it? I won’t be back.

Wi-Fi was basically useless, which is a big problem if you’re staying here to work and don’t have your own internet. There’s only limited parking, and there wasn’t enough for customers. The water pressure was very slow, too, and the water smelled strange. The room and air conditioner were both old, and the AC uses a lot of electricity, making the monthly rate’s credits incredibly expensive. The room just wasn’t worth the price, and the whole stay was terrible. There’s food nearby, but I’d stay somewhere a little farther away instead. It’s cheaper and cleaner, with fast internet, and much closer to the Mekong River.

Daily and monthly rentals are available. The dorm rooms are spacious, with an old 6-foot bed, but the air conditioner is very old and uses a lot of electricity. The monthly rent was 3,500 baht in 2023, though I’m not sure what the current rate is. Electricity costs 10 baht per unit, and water is a flat 300 baht per month. There’s a 7-Eleven opposite, and an evening market selling fresh produce, vegetables, fruit, and fried chicken. The water quality is quite poor, and the pressure keeps fluctuating, which makes showering confusing and frustrating. They don’t reply to Facebook messages. I once called the number listed there and their daughter answered, but she didn’t seem very helpful or interested in communicating with the housekeeper. For any more questions, you have to go through the housekeeper, who then speaks to the owner.
