Huern Kan Thong Hotel

The hotel wasn’t very clean, and one day we waited until 4pm for towels. The shower only had hot water in the afternoon. The aircon smelled like fungus, but when we asked, they replaced its filter, which counts in their favor. Without that, my review would have been much worse.

I felt comfortable during my stay and thought it was good value. The room was clean and spacious, with plenty of storage, and I liked how the bathroom and bedroom were separated. The bedding and linen were very comfortable, with enough pillow support for me. Breakfast was okay for the price.

For under 1,000B, we got a pool and a great breakfast, and the bedroom was the best we’ve had in Northern Thailand. It felt luxurious, was spotless, and the design was excellent, with the toilet, shower, and sink each in a separate room. The WiFi was unreliable, which got frustrating, and the hotel doesn’t have great views. It’s central, but the street is extremely narrow, so getting there in a big car isn’t easy. Still, fantastic value for money.

The pool is beautiful, breakfast was so good, and the hotel itself is pretty and clean. It’s right in the heart of the city, too. Best of all, the bed and pillows were soft and fluffy, the best bed I’ve had in Thailand. I’d highly recommend it.
