My room was comfortable and cleaned daily, with everything replenished each day. There wasn't a balcony, so after a few days I switched to one that had a balcony and a close view of the skyscrapers. Beim was the first person I dealt with at the hotel, and he was extremely helpful. He went out of his way to make sure I could get around the city safely, and our daily chats were always delightful. The hotel is very close to Bumrungrad hospital, with a courtesy golf cart. There's also a nice restaurant, a cafe, local vendors along the street, and train access at the end of the street.

The room wasn't bad, but the service sucked. The hotel is deep in soi 1. They do have a shuttle bus to the start of the soi, but you still have to walk to the BTS. Walking means going along a dirty road where rats run on the walkway.
