Trip.com called later to say the hotel had forgotten to update its booking inventory and was already full. That left me confused: I had booked and paid first, yet some people I’d recommended the place to booked later and still got rooms. Some may have paid higher rates or booked directly with the hotel, while my reservation through Trip.com was canceled just 1-2 days before my trip. I’d made it well in advance and completed the payment, so that was especially disappointing. I won’t stay here or recommend the property to anyone. It was a very poor experience, especially after I’d suggested it to several people.

The room was on the dark side, though comfortable, and the interior has a bit of a brutalist feel. There’s a cozy shared room and patio, with free coffee and snacks. It’s a quiet, clean place, and the people are kind. Great cafes are within walking distance, including Gingerbread gallery and cafe, along with local spots like The stall outside "JT Home Tai Fa Branch JT Phrae" and Khrua Khun Mae.

The owner really looked after us, and the customer service was amazing. We had a wonderful time at Mee bed and breakfast. Guests can relax over coffee in the pantry, and free bicycles are available for rides around the neighbourhood. Food, convenience stores, and laundry are just a few minutes away on foot. Definitely worth the price. We’ll come back.

Be sure to eat at their restaurant, it’s incredible. We felt so well looked after during our stay, and the owner couldn’t do enough for us. They even gave us a nice map of Phrae when we arrived. We’d happily stay again.

I didn’t stay because the windowless concrete rooms made me feel uneasy. The facilities otherwise looked clean and good.
