The quiet and clean cottages have everything you need, including a TV, air conditioning, hot shower, soap, towels, fridge and drinking water. They’re very basic, with hard Thai-style mattresses and no luxury, but at 400 baht without breakfast, that feels fair. You’ll need your own vehicle to reach the two nearby restaurants. The kind woman running the place may be able to arrange meal delivery. The lake dam is six km away, with beautiful sunsets.

The owner was extremely accommodating and brought us extra bedding because the beds, by Thai standards, felt a little thin for farang. The place suited what we needed in the area: quiet, clean, and budget friendly. It seems to be doing well, with expansion underway. There was hot water, a shower, a TV, and plenty of parking. Free coffee, some toast, and a nice chat were a bonus. Pity we didn’t get his name.

Finding vegetarian (mangsawirat) food nearby can be a challenge, so it was a real help when the very helpful owner offered to cook dinner and breakfast for us. The place is flowery and has a nice atmosphere.

I stayed there in August 2025 and am posting this review a bit late ;) The accommodation was pleasant and clean, and the area was really quiet. We could park very close to the property. The owner is lovely. I recommend it.
