The valley view from the outdoor seating area was lovely, and the setting was quiet with superb mountain scenery. We stayed in a thoughtfully laid-out family room, with a single bed downstairs and a double upstairs. The bathroom had a hot shower, the bedding was good quality, and everything felt modern, clean and comfortable. There was good food available to have delivered to the bungalow or eat at the on-site cafe. Helpful staff, and a very enjoyable stay for the money.

The breakfast was great, and the views were excellent. Staff were friendly too. I do think the price could be lower, but it's a good place to stop over in Phu Ruea and I'd recommend it.

We slept three comfortably, and the hotel was a nice option in the Phu Reua area. The temples and mountains made for a good view. Just be aware that the double bed is upstairs, which can be tricky when you need to get up in the middle of the night.

There was a big terrace, though the room itself was quite small. My room, no.10, got very hot during the day and cooled down at night. The sink also leaked, so the floor stayed wet. The hotel is around 8-9 km along the way to Phu Ruea national park. On the night I stayed, 31-1 Feb 19 (Thursday), neighbors nearby had loudspeakers going late into the night. It seemed to me that this happens all over Loei province, where people like to party with loudspeakers until late.

This was my second visit, but the Receptionist told us there were more guests that day and put us in a lousy room. At 8pm I could only see a couple of families, and the place looked empty. I don't like liars, so I'm not coming back.
