I had a lovely stay in one of the dorms. There’s a little safe for valuables, coffee out all day, and a nice lounge area where you can sit and unwind. The host, Max, was great and always ready to help. I’m coming back in July and will definitely stay here again.

The people here are friendly, and things are kept simple. The big bed has a shelf and there’s air conditioning, but the double room is tiny. With two people and your bags, there’s hardly room to stand, so skip the private room if you need space. Also, the dogs outside stole my shoes, so keep them safe!

The beds have dividers, which gives you a decent bit of privacy even though the rooms are shared. Air conditioning runs from 7pm to 7am, and tea and coffee are free, though you’ll need to buy your own milk. Staff are very friendly, and the showers are clean but cramped. It can be a little hard to find since it’s off the main street, but once you know where it is, getting around is easy.

It was hot in the room from morning until evening with only a fan, since the air conditioning was limited to 7pm-7am. There was no hot running water, and the room stayed dark even in the morning unless I opened the balcony door. The small lights by the beds didn’t help much, and opening that door made the room very hot. The bathroom was extremely dirty, especially the toilet walls, and the floors weren’t swept or mopped outside the reception. My bed sagged in the middle and I could feel the springs, so I had to sleep along the sides. This was the worst hostel I’ve stayed in. Please don’t book it.

The dorm had just two small fans for eight people, and the air conditioning only ran from 7pm to 7am. The room had no light, there was one washroom per floor for eight guests, and the washrooms were dirty with filthy walls. No hot water either. Towels, soap and other things cost extra, and the laundry was 80 baht when the usual price is 40-50. Shoes, slippers and flip-flops aren’t allowed, smoking on the balcony is banned, and the gate closes at 8pm so you need a key to get back in. The bedding was comfortable, but this was one of the worst hostels I’ve stayed at. A big no from me. I wish I’d known before paying.
