Amin Resort

We were there for two nights at the end of our Thailand holiday. The service was really friendly and the room was decent. We paid about 2500 per night, which seemed about right, maybe a little high, though I think the area is expensive. There seemed to be lots of long-term guests taking Muay Thai lessons at nearby gyms. The walls are thin, so light sleepers may have a hard time. I probably won’t return to Phuket.

We paid 600 baht as a walk-in. The staff are really nice, and there’s a small restaurant, with in-room dining too. I’ve put the menu in my photos. There’s also a small pool, though I didn’t use it. We picked this place to spend the day at catch beach club. You can walk there from here, and there’s a family mart a little farther up from the club. Plenty of halal food in the area, too. I enjoyed the southern beef curry nearby. The bathroom fan was quite noisy, one bathroom light was broken, and a bedroom light only flickered. Those were the reasons I took off a star.

The room smelled mouldy and wasn't very clean. For what you get, the price is way too high. There are definitely better places in this price range.

I stayed next door, but the place looks nice. It’s convenient for the beach, with a few food spots close by. You can use Grab or get a taxi easily, since there’s a taxi driver hangout shed down the street.
