COMO Point Yamu, Phuket

Bim took great care of us, and the butler service was exceptional. The restaurant also had a wide selection of food. The stay was wonderful, but the location gets only 3 stars from me because there's no beach access from the resort. Keep that in mind when booking if being near a beach matters to you.

This was my third visit, and after three nights I can say the hotel has noticeably improved since my first two stays, which were quite a while ago. It remains one of the best hotel experiences I've had in Thailand, and I'll certainly return on my next trip to Phuket. The property is extremely well maintained, despite years of operation. I didn't notice any signs of age in the room or facilities, and the service was as smooth as you'd expect from a 5 stars. The food is back to its best. Breakfast is now my favorite in the country. The healthy style suits my taste and fits the hotel's wellness brand. You can feel the care in the menu and preparation, even in the small dishes. Credit to the F&B team.

Como Point Yamu was a peaceful escape from the busy tourist areas, and a lovely choice for families. The hotel is beautiful, and everyone was accommodating with our requests. Chris, the hotel manager, and a barman whose name I can't remember were especially fantastic and helped make our stay memorable. We enjoyed the delicious mix of Western and Thai food, the excellent spa, and access to the 24-hour gym and sauna. That sauna was honestly a lifesaver! We also had a private fitness class with Muna, who understood what we wanted and gave us an amazing workout. The room amenities were good, though a body scrub from the spa and more local Thai snacks and drinks in the fridge would have been nice additions. They also seemed to run out of coconuts quite often, several days in a row. A small thing, and perhaps good for controlling our coconut addiction. We absolutely loved our time here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful retreat in Phuket.

We chose this secluded spot for a restful Christmas break, hoping to stay away from the tourist crowds, and were so glad we did. My husband and I spent our five nights relaxing in our bay suite and enjoying the hotel facilities. Even during the festive peak period for Phuket and the hotel, it never felt crowded, including in La Sirena and Naamyha. The hotel was spotlessly clean and well managed. Executive Asst Manager Franz Barnikel made frequent rounds each day, and his attention to detail was remarkable. Staff also had room to use their judgment to help guests. Gim, the bartender, let me collect my complimentary drinks outside the happy hour window because of my spa booking, and the Thai restaurant staff accommodated my husband's fish and veg preferences off menu. Our South Wing room had breathtaking sunset views. Breakfast offered a good range of healthy choices and plenty of cook to order items. I wish La Sirena had a wellness food section for lunch and dinner too, which would have earned the hotel 6 stars from me. The trip to Phuket Old Town for more lunch options took about 45 minutes and got tiresome. Thankfully, we arranged a private Grab driver at our own expense for the daily return trip. The spa was what you'd expect from a resort, and Patty gave me the gentlest Como Shambala signature massage. I was very happy with our choice.
