Sea Front Home hotel

The best part was spending time with the people there. The staff were wonderful, with the warmth of close family or old friends, and I really enjoyed interacting with them. The hotel is small, with around six rooms on each floor, and they clean daily. Beach towels are available for 40 baht, laundry costs 50 baht per kilo, and there's a 7/11 across the street. The beach is a five minute walk away. Cafes, massage parlors, pharmacies and pretty much everything you might want are nearby, with even more entertainment options as you get closer to the beach. It was still affordable and comfortable even almost in season, in December.

We spent three nights here in January 2023, when the rate was probably about $22. For that price, I thought it was great. We mostly explored all day and came back at night, and got what we needed: a cozy, large bed, clean rooms and friendly staff. We liked the neighbourhood, with 7/11, massage parlors, bars, scooter and tour rentals all within walking distance. We had to leave at 4am, so we told the front desk lady ahead of time. They handled the checkout formalities the day before. There are several bars, so the area can be noisy, but we enjoyed it since we were out partying too. I'd definitely recommend the hotel.

Very small rooms and poor service, with toilet commodes that weren't good and no dental kits provided. For this price you can stay in better luxury hotels, so it doesn't feel worth it. It's right by the road, and loud noises and partying can wake you in the middle of the night. Worst hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at Sea Front Home Hotel in Patong. It's handy for both the beach and the market, and the airport bus stops just a one minute walk away. The area is quiet, rooms are spacious and very clean, and housekeeping does a great job. Staff are welcoming, the internet is fast, and there's secure bike parking. It has a homely feel and would suit solo travellers well.
