The pool was nice, though it had a lot of chemicals, and there’s a small fitness room with a bike and a multi-machine. The location suited us and the price was good. The room internet was intermittent and usually didn’t work. The mattresses were worn and not very good.

We only made it through one night of the five we’d booked and checked out the next day. The room smelled of mold, and there was no Wi-Fi in the rooms or TV channels. We’d specifically asked for a double bed, but got two uncomfortable singles instead. Staff couldn’t speak English. At checkout they told us we’d have to wash our own linen or pay for it. The description is misleading, nothing was as advertised.

There’s a fridge, clothes rack, cupboard with hangers, and a kettle with cups. The toilet area is good, though the shower pressure is a bit low. Everything works fine. No mineral water is provided, and there’s no deposit to pay.

We meant to stay three nights, then added three more because we loved the place. The rooms felt secure and the pool was stunning. Staff at the restaurant even called goodbye as we left, so sweet. Karon Beach is just steps away, while Patong is far enough to avoid the chaos. Jungceylon and the big Buddha are still close, and our Grab taxis there were very affordable. We’ll definitely come back to Phuket.
