We paid over 500 CHF per night for five nights, and the experience didn't live up to five-star expectations. We'd previously stayed at another nearby five-star hotel, and the difference in quality and service was significant. In our view, the value and standard don't justify the five-star classification. The staff were polite and tried to help, and they moved us to a better villa after we reported the unpleasant smell in the shower area and poor lighting in our first Deluxe Suite. The rooms were generally clean. Still, the service wasn't proactive. We often had to approach staff, signal for attention, or ask more than once. At the lobby bar, several employees were there, but we had to wave to order and then waited a long time for drinks. At this price, attentive service should be standard. The buffet had generous, interesting choices, but sometimes the food wasn't kept warm enough, and even à la carte dishes could arrive lukewarm. The payment setup was also inconvenient. You can't simply charge food and drinks to the room and pay at checkout. You have to leave a deposit in advance or pay each time. Our second villa was beside the lobby bar. Loud music continued late into the night even after the bar had closed and the guests had left, making sleep difficult. The afternoon low tide also limits swimming at the beach for several hours. Many concerns were dealt with once we raised them, but guests shouldn't have to keep pointing out problems at this price.

We had a lovely time here, even though this isn't usually the kind of hotel we choose. The swim-up bar, spacious family room, clean and comfortable kids club, and children's pool and slide all suited us really well. Everyone working there was lovely. We enjoyed the free marine walk with Tit, looking for starfish, and the kids club with Yuii, who was such a pleasure to meet. Big thanks too to Nan at Tamarind restaurant, who was super kind while we were dealing with two overtired children at dinner.

The big pool was a real highlight, and the staff were especially good with our little ones, making them feel welcome and cared for. Service was top-notch from the reservation process onward. Takky and Nat at reception made check-in smooth and welcoming, and Pare and Aun at Aqua Restaurant gave attentive, superb service. We'd love to return soon and highly recommend it for a family trip.

The sunrise was the standout for me, one of the best I've seen in a long time. That soft orange light over the water felt unreal, quiet, and almost cinematic. If you get up early, it's worth it. I also loved the roomy balcony, where we could actually sit and relax, have coffee in the morning, or catch the sea breeze in the evening. We booked because we were attending a wedding at nearby Sri Panwa Resort (TU rooftop bar), and I'm glad we did. The pool area was easy to relax in for hours without feeling crowded, with a nice balance of calm and lively, right by the beach. The stay felt rejuvenating, peaceful but still fun. My one disappointment came a few days after checkout, when I checked the ALL ACCOR App and saw that this hotel isn't eligible for status points or nights. What a shame.

We're staying here with my partner and our 2yo son, and it's been such a good experience. He loved the resort's kids room and pool, with plenty for him to do. The room, pool, breakfast, and poolside food have all been great. The service is professional and friendly, especially Noona, who has made us feel at home. We've got a few more days here, but I'm already thinking about coming back next year. If you're considering Pullman Panwa for your holiday, go for it. You won't regret it.
