I was unsure after seeing some of the other reviews, but my week here went really well. The hotel is right in Phuket town and near the bus station, and the staff were friendly. They left bottled water each day, and the room was clean with no insects, not even ants. The price felt very good for the quality. The only thing that bothered me was that the water wasn’t hot at night, though it was still warm. I’d stay here again.

I’m giving this hotel one star for the privacy of having a queen-sized bed in a room to myself. Everything else was dreadful, and I regret not reading all the reviews before paying over 2000 Thai Baht. I’m convinced management must be paying for those five-star reviews, or that the people who rated it so highly were under some kind of substance. The stuff was very dute, and this lady was very, very rude. They asked me to pay more money to clean their beds.

Take clear photos of the furniture, bed, and everything in the room before checkout if you stay at Lub Sbuy House. We found little cockroaches in the room, even on the bed, which was a huge disappointment. They took a room deposit, then tried to charge extra cleaning fees over tiny towel marks. Some stains were ours, but the amount they wanted was nowhere near justified. They also showed us photos and items that weren’t ours to raise the charges. Laundry should cost no more than 150 THB, yet they first asked for 2000 THB and then tried to take another 900 THB. I called the tourist police, and only then did they return 1000 THB. It was the worst place I stayed on my trip, and those photos might save you from trouble and unfair charges.

When they clean the room, they tell you that you’ve dirtied the sheets and pillowcases. Then they point to stains on the pillowcase and ask for extra laundry money. Funniest thing I’ve ever experienced 😂😂. Very bad stuff. DO NOT GO THIS HOTEL.

Getting around Phuket town was convenient from this hotel, and the staff’s warm, friendly service made our stay more comfortable and pleasant. We had peaceful days and restful nights there. Thank you.
