The view is stunning, and that’s the main reason to come. The wooden walkways and stairs felt slippery and unsafe, the restaurants and bars were extremely expensive, and the staff weren’t very friendly. Breakfast is served two blocks away. One visit for the view was enough for me.

This feels like a tourist trap now. The staff were rude, and it seems they’re cashing in on the Wat Arun views. I paid 280 baht for a fruit shake and a waiter scolded me for not ordering more. I also had dinner here, and it was really bad. Years ago it was a good restaurant. Avoid.

Parking around the neighborhood is difficult, but the staff service was good. The place has nice decor and makes for great photos, with excellent views of Wat Arun and the Chap Praya River. The Thai food is tailored to foreigners and was well cooked. There’s also a good restaurant and rooftop bar.

The wooden rooms have an authentic feel, like traditional Thai accommodation. Even with restaurants and other temples close by, it was fairly quiet at night. It’s well located, and the view of Wat Arun temple is breathtaking. Amazing place.

We didn’t stay at the hotel or use the rooms, but we’d definitely recommend coming for food and drinks. There’s a restaurant with outdoor views and two bar levels. It’s a lovely spot for taking in Wat Arun and seeing the Grand Palace up close.
