Ming Shou Boutique House

The old town location was fantastic, and the hotel was quiet. It was clean, and the rooms were a good size. I had a good stay in Phuket, though the hard beds made it difficult to sleep. The quilt was a large towel, which felt a bit odd.

It's a budget place in a great location, with a very low price. Everything was very clean, there was hot water, and breakfast was included. But I couldn't sleep on the extremely hard bed. It felt like lying on a slab of marble, and they used a large towel instead of a quilt or sheet. For that reason, I can't recommend it. Staff didn't speak any English, so communication was difficult.

You're right in the middle of the old town, surrounded by shops and restaurants, and the reception was superb. The woman at the front desk even welcomed us with food, such a kind gesture. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well kept. Breakfast was okay, with sausage and boiled eggs. We only stayed one night, but it looked like some items changed from day to day, which was nice. There's a bus to the airport for just 100 Thai baht, and the stop is about a 10-minute walk from the hotel. A very convenient and pleasant stay!

For Phuket's high prices, this felt like good value for money right in the heart of old town. I stayed for 2 nights. They changed the towels and blankets after 1 day, and breakfast was included too. The breakfast wasn't anything special, but it was okay.
