Peranakan Boutique Hotel

I booked four nights but left after just one. The room wasn’t as described and wasn’t very clean. I didn’t feel safe, and it was really noisy. There’s no lift, which made getting heavy luggage upstairs difficult. They only had two very old bath towels, and asked for extra towels to be paid for. There were no hand towels, hand soap, shower cap, or cotton buds, which I consider basic. BIG SCAM. AVOID!!!!!!!

After three months traveling around SEA, this bed might be the comfiest one I’ve had. The location is great too, but honestly, stay for the bed. You’re welcome.

The hotel is super clean and smells amazing as soon as you walk in. And that bed? The most comfortable one I’ve ever slept on. We’d definitely recommend staying here.

The room was well maintained and had modern features: good lighting, a smart TV, reliable safe, soft bed, excellent aircon, and a window facing the back alley, so noise wasn’t an issue. The bathroom was good too, with a bidet spray, working water heater, soap, and shampoo. Towels were changed daily, which was fine, though I wish there had been an option to keep the same ones since daily changes aren’t necessary. Check-in was quick, just filling in the details, and there was no booking deposit. I was given a room on level 4, but luckily I could manage the stairs. There was a power cut at 5am on my last day and I woke up sweating, but they fixed it within an hour. Parking is very limited, with only about three spaces in front of the building.
