Tee Pak Dee Resident Phuket

We wasted our $70 and left immediately. There’s no elevator, and the staff rudely refused to help with our luggage even though we had a sick baby. Our room smelled of mold and toilet, the bed was uncomfortable, the AC was noisy, and the view was terrible. They also told us at the last minute that we’d have to pay a late checkout fee for being less than two hours late. I wouldn’t stay here at any price.

The room was spacious and quiet, just what I needed, and the place is close to the Old Town while tucked away from busy roads. The AC and water pressure were good. The bed felt a little hard to me, but it wasn’t a deal-breaker. Breakfast is VERY basic, so don’t expect much. I liked the stay and would come back.

Once inside, it’s a nice place with very friendly staff, even though it’s set among a group of seedy buildings. The rooms are great value and it was quiet. You can walk to the old town without much trouble, and there’s a free, very basic breakfast.

The rooms are a little dated, but that didn’t bother us. We had a fridge, AC, and a safe. The hotel is close to Bus terminal 1, where you can catch buses to lots of destinations, including transfers to the airport or patong beach. It’s near the old town but still in a quiet spot.
